Call for Presentations on 500Ah+ Cells & Energy Storage Systems for CIES 2026

China Energy Storage Network News: In recent years, battery cell technology has advanced by leaps and bounds—energy density continues to climb, cycle life keeps breaking records, and intrinsic safety has significantly improved. However, on the path toward economical, efficient, safe, stable, green, low-carbon, and long-life energy storage systems, who truly “understands” the system?

Currently, the integration of cell technology and energy storage systems is advancing from “single-performance adaptation” to a deeper stage of “end-to-end collaborative optimization.” This demands not only exceptional cell performance but also calls for synergistic innovation and holistic thinking across materials, structure, thermal management, BMS, and system integration.


To delve into the key challenges and innovative pathways for integrating battery cell technology with energy storage systems, promote efficient collaboration across battery cell R&D, manufacturing, and system applications, and foster deep integration and technical cooperation throughout the industrial chain, CIES2026—the 16th China International Energy Storage Conference—has specially established the “500Ah+ Battery Cells and Energy Storage Systems Session.” We now formally invite battery cell manufacturers, energy storage system integrators, and relevant solution providers to submit proposals for featured presentations. Industry experts and corporate representatives are warmly invited to submit proposals and join this grand event!

1. Latest advancements and applications of high-safety, long-life battery cell technologies.


2. Collaborative design and cost-reduction pathways for large-capacity cells and system integration.


3. Smart manufacturing and digital twin technology practices across the entire cell-to-system value chain.

 

4. “500Ah+ battery cells” are undergoing accelerated R&D and mass production, with commercialization expected by year-end and large-scale deployment by mid-next year. How will 500Ah+ cells address market demand, mass production challenges, and cost issues?


5. How will 500Ah+ cells integrate with new production lines, capacity scaling, and application scenario adaptation? How will they coordinate technical standards, insurance/transportation, and supply chain support?


6. How will 500Ah+ cells integrate with system integration, design costs, and operational complexity?

 

7. How will 500Ah+ cells address future long-duration energy storage application requirements?
